OmAyur Wellness is 100% Australian owned and is the new home of OmVeda, founded in 1997.
OmVeda was established by Yasmin Sadikot in 1997, marking the first time an Ayurvedic Skincare range was launched in Australia, making it a pioneer in the field.
In 2023, OmVeda was sold to Nadine Thorburn, and OmAyur Wellness was created.
From there, her daughter Imogen joined the team, a qualified clinical beauty therapist pursuing a bachelor's degree in naturopathy.

About us
Nadine embarked on a journey of discovering holistic treatments over 30 years ago, which ultimately led to the creation of OmAyur Wellness. Nadine explored various wellness traditions, including Aromatherapy, Ayurveda, Massage, Yoga, and Sound Healing.
OmAyur, which translates from ancient Sanskrit to mean 'Universal life', is our lifestyle range, will forever be intricately linked to OmVeda, which translates to 'Universal wisdom'. These two brands harmoniously complement each other. OmVeda offering high quality Skincare steeped in the science of Ayurveda, along with OmAyur Wellness offering exquisite, complementary lifestyle products and wellness tools.
Today, OmAyur Wellness is a testament to the rich heritage of such ancient practices. Our foundation is built on the principles of clean beauty, holistic wellness, transparency, and integrity. As a company, we strive to achieve remarkable outcomes with minimal environmental impact by incorporating pure and potent herbs and oils, under the umbrella of OmVeda that cater to different skin types and concerns. We aim to promote self-care whilst nurturing the beautiful planet we call home.

OmVeda has always been aware and taken steps to care of the environment, not only for ourselves and the animals we share it with, but to ensure future generations can enjoy it too.
- No branded outer boxes. All boxes used to freight orders are recycled or recyclable, although we do stamp them with Natural inks
- We use recyclable PET packaging in clear so you can see the quality and quantity of product received.
- Our product boxes are Eco friendly cardboard
- Our deliveries are sent to you using Carbon neutral providers.
